The Dillsburg Arts and Revitalization Council has begun its Capital Campaign for the repair of Historic Monaghan Church, their home base and location for concerts and programs. This is a result of decreased state and federal funding for projects involving the arts and the repair of historic structures.

The Dillsburg Arts and Revitalization Council has been actively involved in the improvement of the Dillsburg Area community since 1998.

State and federal funding for programs and repair of the historic church have diminished to a point that threatens the continuation of these programs. The roof on the church is in need of repair and in order to do that monies would have to be used that pay for our programs. This is something we do not want to do, so we are reaching out to the community for donations to assist with the maintenance of Historic Monaghan (the oldest Presbyterian Church west of the Susquehanna River) and take care of the roof.

Watch the Dillsburg Banner and our Web Site for future news and articles on the project and “thank you” so very much for all your support in the past and for our future.
