UPCOMING PROGRAMS
Dillsburg Heart & Soul
The Downtown Dillsburg Initiative, a subcommittee of the Dillsburg Arts Council focused on physical and economic revitalization of downtown Dillsburg, is in the midst of a two year plus project called Community Heart & Soul. This program was created by The Orton Family Foundation. It is a humanities-based initiative that uses resident stories and community conversations to spark collective decision-making and action. Dillsburg Heart & Soul seeks to help people to shape the future of our community by actively seeking the collective wisdom of all residents, improving local decision-making, creating a shared sense of belonging, and ultimately strengthening the social, cultural, and economic vibrancy of our home. In the fall of 2019 Dillsburg Heart & Soul was awarded grant money through South Mountain Partnership from The Pennsylvanian Dept. of Conservation and Natural Resources to complete the first phrases of the Community Heart & Soul Program.”
